I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and have been working in the mental health field for over nine years.  My interest in the field began in college when I volunteered at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago (formerly Children's Memorial Hospital) on the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit. I enjoyed working with children, teenagers and families who were experiencing mental health issues, psychosocial stressors, and crisis situations.

After graduating from DePaul University with my bachelor's in psychology, I went on to earn my masters in clinical counseling at Rosalind Franklin. After obtaining my masters, I continued to work at Lurie Children's on the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit gaining significant experience helping  children, teenagers and their families in times of intense difficulty in their lives.

I also worked at a community mental health organization in Chicago providing outpatient therapy to adults and children with a variety of backgrounds and challenges.  This gave me experience working with a majority of adult clients experiencing various psyshosocial stressors and challenges.

In 2014, I started working in private practice providing individual, couples and family therapy to a wide range of clients of all ages, backgrounds, range of needs and personal barriers.  Private practice allows me to provide individualized, focused, longer term therapy resulting in significant life changes and accomplishments for the client.

The scope of my experience - hospital inpatient unit,  community health clinic and private practice has taught me how each client is different and that each client needs a treatment plan developed in collaboration with their therapist and tailored to their needs.  My experience has given me the tools to do that with you. I look forward to helping you overcome your barriers and accomplish your goals!
